Robert Jess “Robbie” Wilson, Jr., age 72, passed away peacefully on October 26, 2025, in Westminster, Colorado surrounded by his loving family. Born on December 24, 1952, in Aurora, Colorado. After living a short time as a child in Mississippi his family relocated back to Colorado, where he lived a full and vibrant life. Robbie graduated from Englewood High School in Englewood, Colorado, and went on to attend Metro State University for a year. He began his professional journey at Nolan’s R.V., where he started as a mechanic. Through dedication and hard work, he advanced into sales and eventually became an R.V. sales manager before retiring. His career reflected not only his technical skill but also his ability to connect with people—a quality that served him well throughout his life. He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Diane Wilson; daughter, Shannon Wilson; stepdaughter, Amanda Wilson (Adrian Wilson); stepson, Justin Graves (Toni); step-grandsons Brandon, Daniel, and Brock Wilson and Andrew and Austin Graves; step-granddaughter Brooklynne Wilson and step-great-granddaughter Avery Wilson. Although they were his step family by marriage he regarded them as his own. Robbie also leaves behind numerous family members and friends who were touched by his presence. Robbie was preceded in death by his first wife, Melinda Wilson; his father, Robert Jess Wilson; his mother, Nelva Jean Wright and his brother Kenny Wilson An avid outdoorsman with a passion for adventure, Robbie enjoyed skiing the Colorado slopes, casting a line while fishing, boating on open waters, and traveling to new places with his wife Diane.He also had a deep appreciation for cars—a lifelong interest that brought him joy and connection with others who shared the same enthusiasm. Those who knew Robbie will remember him for his sense of humor, quick wit, and lively personality. Though he could appear reserved at times, he held a deep love for his family and friends—one that was felt in countless quiet gestures and heartfelt moments. A Memorial Service will be held on November 14, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at New Horizons Christian Church 701 Carbondale Dr. Followed by a light lunch at the church.
