Our charges for a direct cremation (without ceremony) include: removal of remains within 30 miles, restricted services of funeral director and staff, basic facilities, refrigeration, transportation of remains to local crematory of our choice. If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composition materials (with or without an outside covering). The containers we provide are constructed of wood and/or cardboard. These packages include our cremation fee. You have the right to select a different crematory if you desire and pay or be credited with the difference of that crematoryâs fee. Including a Cremation Container.
